About/Resume

Hi there, my name’s Kevin Page and I’m a concept artist and illustrator. I enjoy drawing characters and working with a team to develop something cool.

As a child, I enjoyed playing video games on the NES and SNES, particularly the Final Fantasy games. This interest in games is what motivated and inspired me to begin my journey in art and character design.

I remember walking around in my backyard brainstorming ideas which I would end up developing further with friends. Growing up I also had an appreciation for Disney animation which I studied closely and was greatly inspired by.

After graduating from CSULB’s Illustration program, I pursued storyboarding but was offered work in the mobile gaming space where I’ve been ever since. My primary work experience has been 4-5 year tenures at Pocket Gems and Glu where I worked with some amazing people on some very cool products.

I’ve begun making a push in recent years to develop my art further and have even adopted photography as a means of informing my artistic decisions. My ultimate goal remains to work with people on something cool and to continue developing as an artist.

  • Concept artist responsibilities included characters, animals, weapons, vehicles, environment assets, and icons.
  • Responsible for offshore management duties including providing paint overs for concepts and 3d models for human survivors and walkers.
  • Provided paint overs for characters, vehicles, weapons, and environments for internal artists.

Loot Heroes - Remote Contract Work

Nov 2021 – Mar 2022

  • Primary artist on NFT project “Loot Heroes”
  • Responsible for character designs and illustrations as well as armor set illustrations.
  • Worked with other team members to establish art style on short notice with little available time.

Glu/EA - San Francisco CA - Senior Concept Artist

Mar 2017 - June 2021

  • Primary concept artist for Disney’s Sorcerer’s Arena.
  • Responsible for developing game style, visualizing game conceit, and getting style green lit by Disney.
  • Concepted environments, character turn arounds, in game assets.
  • Storyboarding and marketing art. Concept work for “reimagining” game UI.

  • Concept artist for titles such as Animal Voyage, Episode, Paradise Cove, and War Dragons.
  • Concepted animals, animal homes, and environments for Animal Voyage

  • Worked alongside vision holders to create game’s visual style for War Dragons.
  • Concepted dragons, environments, characters, attack turrets, in game assets, narrative imagery, and social media banners for War Dragons.
